Our vineyards are situated near the Cevennes, the northern
range of mountains of the Languedoc region in the South of France.
A mild climate, south facing limestone soils and a careful
and sensitive viticulture allows the production of an elegant,
full bodied and persistent wine. Orthelius is a blend of Cabernet
sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Grenache and Carignan with notes
of blackberry, licquorish, dry plum and hints of vanilla.
50% of the total volume was aged in selected
french oak barrels during 14 months.
